I don't know whether anyone will read this, but it gives me an outlet for moaning about things ... like not being able to get into plastic packaging, phones that stop ringing as soon as you get down the stairs (unless you took it up with you and just popped down for a minute), misplaced apostrophes ... etc etc Please feel free to add your own irritations and we can all moan together!

Glasses (2)
He would have cracked up if he'd seen us pathetic middle-agers in the restaurant the other day trying to read the menu by passing round the reading glasses in turn like those old women in Greek mythology who shared an eyeball.
