Remember when cereal bran was only used for animal fodder, basically a by-product when producing foodstuffs for us delicate humans? Ever since the eat-more-fibre-and-be healthier movement it has got really expensive. Any cereal with bran in is twice as expensive as the sugary, chocolatey muck, and a bag of oat bran costs me £1.20 when the porridge I put it in is only 53p!

And another moan: selfish parking! Why don't people park considerately? There is space for 3 cars outside my house, but one family usually parks their two cars across all three spaces.

O.K. Rant over.

  1. Aw I'm with you on the parking rant. The house next to my mums has been split into flats so not only do you have the 4 cars for them but also their work vans and in one case the girlfriends car. The amount of times my sister (who lives there) or I have come home to find that we cant park outside our parents is numerous. Not that we feel we have a right to park there but we do feel that our parents have a right to get their car of the driveway that is blocked by all these neighbours!

As for the bran, have you tried the cash and carry, could be cheaper.
